Poetry is good?

Home is the place where, when you have to go there,
They have to take you in.

I actually read that the day before yesterday in a book. A real book made from paper. :) It's from a Robert Frost poem. I also read this one which had some good stuff in it also. Then my phone rang, the shelf stacking lady told me off and I departed the library. Why Robert Frost? The song of course...

I realise now that this post quite possibly provoked eye rolls and "tsk tsk"s from anyone who knows anything about poetry. It turns out this quote is very well known and over-used. But hey, I studied engineering! And I seriously did discover it for myself in a book. So, nyer.

I ran across the quote for the first time in one of the Lois McMaster Bujold books. It's still pretty cool.

Listen to this weird coincidence. Cheryl lent me that same book. It's called Young Miles and I just finished it a few days ago. Anyway that quote is used in the book (rather cheesily) and I happened to read it just a couple of days after writing this blog post!!!!! Freaky huh? Ps, I didn't like the book much.
